GRAND RAPIDS, MI. — Most of us love to carve pumpkins, but in Downtown Grand Rapids Friday, they're taking to the hobby to the next level.

Pumpkin carving pro, Randy Finch will be at Rosa Parks Circle noon - 6 p.m.

You'll want to arrive by noon as that is when Finch will be carving a giant 1300-pound pumpkin!

The first 100 kids under the age of 18 to attend with get a free pumpkin to take home.

There will also be a Halloween costume contest at 5 p.m. and a chance to win a $100 gift card to a local #DowntownGR business.

In addition to all the spooky fun, attendees will also find pumpkin themed games, a photo booth contest, food trucks, and the chance to win more prizes.
