First person charged in connection with Saturday's violent riots in downtown Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The first charges from Saturday's violent riots brought to court today.

Adrian Baker, 18, charged by the Grand Rapids Police Department for Malicious Destruction of Property worth less than $200 and Larceny in a building.

Baker is the first of several suspects in Saturday's riots.

Baker's bail is set at $5,000 and he is lodged at the Kent County Correctional Facility.
