GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man is in custody after deputies say he refused to leave a foreclosed home he used to own.
Deputies were called around 12:30 p.m. to a home on Deer Trail Drive NE in Grand Rapids.
A court officer learned the previous homeowner was still staying inside, so deputies went with them to the house. Once they arrived, authorities say the man was armed and wasn’t
compliant, which led them to exit the home and set up a perimeter.
The man eventually surrendered and is in custody.
