GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A street sweeper that overturned after the driver fell asleep on westbound I-96 just east of Cascade in Grand Rapids Township, according to Michigan State Police.
It happened just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Westbound traffic got by in the left lane while crews worked to clear the scene, which was cleared just before 5 a.m.
The driver was not hurt. Police believe he over-corrected after falling asleep and caused the crash.
