GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — All lanes of US-131 at I-196 have reopened as of 7:15 a.m. Wednesday after an early morning crash slowed traffic for early an hour.

It took crews about 45 minutes to clear the crash involving two cars which blocked the left two lanes and caused traffic on US-131 to be backed up all the way to I-96.

Michigan State Police say there were no injuries in the crash.

We're told one of the cars was disabled, blocking two of the three lanes, which was why things were backed up.
