GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Westbound I-196 closed near Lane Avenue for a roll-over Wednesday night, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
Michigan State Police re-routed drivers off of the highway onto Lane Avenue while they assessed the situation and cleared the road. At least one person was injured in the crash.
Traffic was backed up to US-131 during the closure, but began running smoothly immediately after the vehicle was removed from the road.
