COLUMBUS, Ohio — Condado Tacos plans to open its first Grand Rapids location this Thursday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. on Bridge Street, according to Fahlgren Mortine.

We’re told the build-your-own taco restaurant will be located on the ground floor of Bridge Street Lofts and that grand opening attendees will receive a free taco with purchase.

Fahlgren Mortine says those who share their taco photo to Instagram on opening weekend with the caption #condadobridgestreet will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Condado gift card. They say patrons who purchase food on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 will receive a “Peel & Win” card, which may yield prizes such as gift cards or free tacos for a year.

“We’re thrilled to open our first new restaurant this year in Grand Rapids," says President Scott Shotter. "The location is a celebration of the city with plenty of Grand Rapids tributes in our floor-to-ceiling murals -- not to mention the crave-worthy tacos served up daily.”

We're told Condado Tacos plans to follow state and CDC health guidelines and thus will require employees to wear masks, tables will be six feet apart from each other, and the interior space will be limited to 25 percent capacity.

The restaurant is scheduled to be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Click here for more information.
