GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The City of Grand Rapids says the MLK Park Pool is now closed for the 2025 season.
In a Facebook post, the Parks & Recreation department said the pump is inoperable and needs a new motor, which won't arrive before pools close on Aug. 16.
They say concessions will stay open on the south lawn area, along with games for kids.
