GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Three popular restaurants in Grand Rapids were broken into overnight Tuesday to Wednesday.

Property was stolen from The Old Goat on Eastern Avenue SE in the Alger Heights area, The Electric Cheetah on Wealthy Street SE in the East Hills neighborhood, and Pietro’s Italian Restaurant off of 28th Street SE near Breton Road.

The Old Goat and The Electric Cheetah have the same owners.

The break-ins cannot be linked so far, Grand Rapids Police told FOX 17 News, though they noticed a “similar MO in all the incidents, brick/rock through a window,” said GRPD Sgt. John Wittkowski.

At The Old Goat, officers arrived around 6:30 a.m. when someone reported a broken window. It’s not known when the break-in occurred, as no alarm was tripped.

Wittkowski said investigators were reviewing video.
