GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two people were shot on Grand Rapids' Southeast side earlier this morning, with one victim in critical condition.
GRPD reported that officers first heard gunshots around 3:30 a.m. in the area of Sherman St. and Dolbee Ave. SE.
A rifle and handgun casings were located in this area shortly after shots were fired.
Shortly after those shots were heard, two victims arrived at St. Mary's Hospital in a vehicle that was hit by multiple bullets.
The woman in the vehicle had multiple gun shot wounds and is in critical condition.
The man had multiple gun shot wounds in his leg, which appear to be non-life threatening.
