GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two people were arrested for drunk driving after hitting vehicles parked on the side of the road in Grand Rapids.
Police were called around 12:30 p.m. on Logan Street SE. Investigators say a man hit some parked vehicle in the area and then switched spots with a female passenger, who was also intoxicated.
The vehicle was stopped a short time later with the woman driving, but police determined the man caused the initial crash with a statement from a witness.
Both drivers were arrested for operating while intoxicated.
