GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Troopers responded to the scene of a deadly rollover crash on I-196 around 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning.
A 63-year-old man drove off the road near Exit 76 towards Lane Avenue, hitting a raised curb that sent his car into a tree before it rolled over.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor, according to the Michigan State Police.
The driver's name has not yet been released.
While several lanes and the exit ramp were closed for a short time, all lanes are now open.
