BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Senior living communities didn’t allow in-person visits early in the pandemic – so when one local couple got engaged, they decided to re-enact the proposal outside their loved one’s home.
That couple just got married Sunday at the same place they got engaged.
Taylor Corcetti and Jeremiah Williams posed with Marilyn Neubert, whom they call their adopted grandmother.
The couple tied the knot at Lakeview Assisted Living in Battle Creek.
Aside from the pastor, Marilyn was their only guest.
Photos from the engagement went viral in March.
Lakeview says they’re happy to see the couple’s story come full circle.
