GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Calvin University is shifting its instruction online as an emergency response to coronavirus being in Michigan.

Friday's classes are canceled and "all classes will move online," starting March 16, according to Matt Kucinski, Calvin's associate director of public relations, today.

The college plans to "resume classroom instruction" on April 14.

"We have had an emergency response team working on this for several weeks now," Kucinski said.

Calvin University has created a website for updates on its "response" to coronavirus.
