Update 8/29/2021: Authorities found and identified the man as 56-year old William Reagan in Middle Lake around 5:00 p.m.
The Barry County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 66-year-old man they believe drowned in Middle Lake over the weekend.
Deputies responded Saturday to the lake in Carlton Township, where the man had been fishing on his kayak, according to a news release Monday.
Another boater found the kayak floating empty
The victim’s name is being withheld by officials pending notification of relatives.
