BARRY COUNTY, Mich. — The Barry County Sheriff’s Office has closed its front lobby for normal business because of a rise in COVID-19 cases in the county.
In a Facebook post last week, the sheriff’s office said services affected include fingerprinting, car vs. Deer reports, sex offender registry, walk-in complaints, inmate visitation and FOIA requests.
FOIA requests can still be made by emailing jpoll@barrycounty.org or by mail.
Citizens will still be able to deposit money in inmate accounts for bond and commissary.
