OAKFIELD TWP., Mich. — A Friday afternoon crash involving three cars sent two drivers to the hospital.

The crash occurred before 4:30 p.m. Friday on 14 Mile Road/M57 at Heintzelman Road in Oakfield Townsip.

A Nissan traveling westbound on 14 Mile Rd slowed at an intersection and was rear-ended by a Ford Edge.

The driver of the Nissan, a 58-year-old man from Greenville, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

While the driver of the Ford Edge was left uninjured, the driver of the Pontiac was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
