POKAGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A crash into a Comcast van in Cass County caused the van to crash into a second van Wednesday evening, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened about 6 p.m. on M51 near Pokagon Street in Pokagon Township, a news release said Thursday.
The driver of the first vehicle, 32-year-old Hilary Schreuder of Decatur, was driving toward Dowagiac on M51 when she crashed into a parked Comcast van, which caused it to crash into a second van.
Schreuder was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Comcast workers weren’t in the van at the time of the crash and their safety lights were activated.
Seat belts were worn and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
Cass County police continue to investigate.
