TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police responded to a fatal crash north of Lake Michigan Drive on Eighth Avenue this evening.
The one-vehicle crash occurred when the southbound car drove off the road and struck a tree, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, who say the two occupants were found pinned within the vehicle when authorities arrived.
We’re told fire crews extricated both occupants before performing life-saving care, but one of them died.
The incident is currently under investigation.
