SKIDMORE PARK, Mich. — A child custody dispute turned physical Monday afternoon in Skidmore Park.
Officers from the Three Rivers Police Department were dispatched to Skidmore Park for the report of a man with a gun and a possible kidnapping about 1:20 p.m., according to a news release.
Police say one of the parties pulled a gun during an argument over child custody.
One person was arrested on charges of a concealed carry violation and felonious assault.
Assault and battery charges are being sought for other involved parties through the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
