3 Benton Harbor men arrested after drug bust

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — After executing a narcotics search warrent, Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) West, a branch of Michigan State Police (MSP) seized multiple firearms and illegal drugs and arrested three Benton Harbor men.

The search warrant took place on Thursday at a home on Milton Street near Donald Adkins Drive in Benton Township.

During the search, detectives seized around 3.5 ounces of crack cocaine, 2 rifles, 2 pistols, 3 liters of promethazine, approximately 250 doses of ecstasy, and cash from suspected illegal drug sales.

SWET detectives were assisted at the home by Berrien County Sheriff’s Department Detective Division, FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and Michigan State Police.

25-Year-Old Larry Washington Brooks Jr., 20-year-old Evorion Anderson, and 22-year-old Nathaniel Wigfall-Fultz were all arrested and lodged in at the Berrien County Jail for possesion with intent to deliver Cocaine,

Brooks Jr. and Anderson were also arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a crime

All three suspects were arraigned in the 5th District Court in Berrien County on Friday.

Additional charges are being sought for other suspects, including possession with intent to distribute promethazine, maintaining a drug house, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and felony firearms.
