HOLLAND, Mich. — Holland High School, Holland Early College and HRVT will resume in-person learning Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The news comes after they were closed Monday as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of COVID-19. Positive tests for the virus were reported to the district this weekend, according to an online statement by Superintendent Dr. Brian Davis.
“Monday’s shift was needed to give our tracers enough time to do this work,” Davis writes, “and to ensure students and staff weren’t exposed by someone who should have been home in quarantine.”
“There have been NO cases of COVID-19 transmission in any of our buildings,” says Davis, stating that all students and staff that were quarantined are able to return to school. He credits the district’s Return to Learn plan for the reopening.
