CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Molly DeBono is being recognized for her Excellence in Education.
"Last March, when corona hit, we were all thrown a curve ball and sent home," says Stacy Zwicker, Molly’s nominator. “Ms. DeBono made that transition for us parents with ease.”
“Last spring threw us all for a whirlwind, right?” says DeBono. “So I just did everything that I could to make it feel as normal...as I could. It just means the world to me that they appreciated it as much as I did.”
Molly has received a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery, and her class at Erie Elementary will receive a $500 grant.
