ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Jennifer Harris is being recognized for her Excellence in Education.
Martha Wilson, Harris’s nominator, says, “I don't know anyone who defines excellence better than Jennifer, and I have seen her work so hard for over 25 years.”
“Every job I've had has involved working with children, and I can't imagine doing anything else,” says Jennifer. “That excitement of when they get it, and they are proud of themselves for achieving it--there's nothing better.”
Jennifer has received a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery, and her class at Ann Arbor Public Schools will receive a $500 grant.
