A 37-year-old funeral home director is facing second-degree murder charges in the deadly shooting of his cousin.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced charges against Major Clora, Jr., in the shooting death of his 58-year-old cousin.

The incident happened Aug. 10 at 10:42 a.m. in the parking lot of the Clora Funeral Home in the 5800 block of E. Seven Mile Road. When officers arrived and found the lifeless body of the 58-year-old, Clora was arrested.
