SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (AP) — An 8-year-old girl has been shot in the head and her 20-year-old sibling arrested at an apartment complex northwest of Detroit.
Police say the shooting occurred about 7 p.m. Sunday in Southfield.
Surgery was performed on the girl who was listed Monday in critical condition at a hospital.
Police said the shooting was under investigation and the case was expected to be presented to the Oakland County prosecutor for charges.
