MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich. — Today a patrol vehicle was rammed twice, resulting in some injuries for the trooper investigating Michigan State Police (MSP) reports.

At 11:19 a.m. the trooper stopped a wanted fugitive in Missaukee County. The fugitive had stolen an older Dodge pickup and was accompanied by another man.

The trooper asked the driver to exit the vehicle to speak with MSP’s Seventh District Fugitive Team when the passenger slid over to the driver side and fled.

When in pursuit the trooper was rammed twice in his patrol vehicle by the passage, the second of which sent him into a ditch.
