24-year-old man charged in connection to shots fired into home in Wayland

WAYLAND, Mich. — A 24-year-old Grand Rapids man has been arraigned in connection to shots fired into a home in Wayland earlier this month.

Rodney Sylvester Davis Jr. was arraigned in Allegan County on charges of intentionally discharging a firearm at a dwelling, carrying a firearm during the commission of a felony and aggravated stalking, a news release said Monday.

If convicted, Davis faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The shooting happened Nov. 1 on the 3500 block of Toronto Trail.

Wayland police responded to a report of shots fired into a home.

Officers found several shell casings and several apparent bullet holes in the home.

No one was hit or injured.
