Van Andel Arena updates public on status of scheduled events amidst COVID-19

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — As part of a new weekly email going out to suite holders, Van Andel Arena sent out information regarding concerts and events that were previously scheduled from March to mid-August that have since been rescheduled, cancelled or statuses are to be determined (TBD).

"At this time we are working with event promoters to reschedule the affected event dates, premium seat holders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as all previously purchased tickets will be honored on the rescheduled event dates," Van Andel said in the email.

The following concerts/events have been rescheduled. Their original dates are in italics and their new dates are listed in bold. The dates are listed in chronological order based on original booking and dates were/are scheduled to take place in the year 2020.

Dan + Shay (previously scheduled for March 26) has been rescheduled for August 7.

Trevor Noah (May 8) has been rescheduled for November 22.

Reba McEntire (May 9) has been rescheduled for August 6.

Foo Fighters (May 12) has been rescheduled for October 7.

The following event's status is TBD:

Monster Jam Triple Threat Series (March 20-22).

Michael Buble (March 31).

Elton John (April 23).

Grand Valley State University Commencement (April 24-25).

Baker College Commencement (May 3).

Justin Bieber (August 16).

The following events have been cancelled:

Davenport University Commencement (April 26).

Barley, BBQ, and Beats (May 16).
