GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After receiving more than 6,000 handmade masks, Spectrum Health will begin to distribute them to “those in the community who most need them,” the healthcare provider said in a release.
Certain facilities and non-profits associated with Spectrum, such as long-term care centers and home health workers will be first to receive the reusable masks.
“We encourage those who are able, to please continue making and donating masks,” said Kurt Knoth, vice president of supply chain at Spectrum Health.
