MICHIGAN — As first responders work to protect and take care of us during this pandemic, the last thing they should have to worry about is taking care of the lawn.

Lawn care equipment maker Cub Cadet is partnering with on-demand lawn care service Task Easyto offer free lawn care for a month to police, firefighters, paramedics, doctors and nurses. Lawn service is essential right now as it helps keeps pests out of our homes. Plus, it's keeping our local lawn care companies in business.

As we spend more time at home, our yards have become a place for entertainment, recreation, even exercise.

It's simple to sign up, just fill out an applicationand Cub Cadet will match you up with a lawn service in your area.

"It's two cuttings to most every other week so that allows us to take about a month off of their plate," explained Emily Sword, Director of Brand Strategy at Cub Cadet.

"That covers mowing, trimming around trees, fences, picking up the clippings. First responders have so much that they're dealing with right now just keeping us all safe and healthy. When they get the opportunity to pull in the driveway after a long day, a lot of stress, the last thing we want them thinking about is a shabby-looking lawn."
