GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Despite the need for Salvation Army personnel in Kent County to work from home, the Army continues its services and is seeking to expand its response to people’s needs during the coronavirus outbreak:
- Food pantry services
- Meals to senior citizens in to-go packaging
- Lunches for school children being delivered to children’s homes by Kroc Center staff
- Wellness checks of some seniors
- Homeless services being accomplished over phone and fax
You can arrange to make donations through the SA web site.
The Army is also working with Kent County to set up a donation site.
