LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University's football program paused its workouts after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
The program conducted surveillance testing on all staff members over the weekend in preparation for beginning 20-hour week workouts.
Student-athletes were also tested Wednesday afternoon. The staff member's result did not come in until late afternoon, MSU Athletics said.
Workouts will not begin until complete results from all surveillance testing are in.
