Michigan reports 10,293 new COVID-19 cases since Saturday, 21 more deaths

LANSING, Mich. — 10,293 new cases of coronavirus are confirmed in Michigan since Saturday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports an additional 21 deaths connected to COVID-19 on April 5, 2021.

There are 702,499 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 16,239 total deaths in Michigan.

As of April 3, 569,460 have recovered from the virus.

A total of 2,766 adults with confirmed or suspected cases of coronavirus as of April 2.

5,623,595 COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed throughout the state, and 4,706,383 have been administered as of April 4.

36.5% of the state has received at least one dose of a vaccine.
