(WXYZ) — Michigan Medicine received 1,950 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine Monday morning.
The health care system plans on vaccinating its employees who are most at-risk this week.

Michigan Medicine plans to do a small amount of vaccinations on Monday in addition to vaccinating groups of employees on Tuesday.
The health care system has about 28,000 employees, so the first shipment is a limited supply.
Michigan Medicine says it has implemented a phased approach for employees consistent with recommended guidelines from federal and state health agencies.
It will ramp up vaccinations next week depending on supply.
