WALKER, Mich. — Meijer confirms to FOX 17 that one of their employees at the Meijer store in Cedar Springs has tested positive for coronavirus.
The company did not identify the employee but noted the person and “anyone who could be identified as high risk under CDC guidelines” will continue to be paid.
In an email, a spokesperson said the store “has been thoroughly deep cleaned and will remain open during our updated store hours of 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.”
They said the store is also following CDC guidelines on keeping check lanes, self checkouts and other “high-frequency touch points” cleaned and sanitized.
