GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Grand Rapids landmark is temporarily closing.
JW Marriott Grand Rapids says it is "suspending operations," according to a Facebook post this afternoon.
"We look forward to serving our guests and community again as soon as possible," the hotel says.
The move comes during Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's stay-at-home order amid the coronavirus outbreak. The order runs through April 13.
The 23-floor hotel has 337 rooms, according to its website.
It is designed to "embrace comfort and proclaim lavishness."
The hotel says people with questions can call 616-242-1500.
