ALLEGAN, Mich. — Allegan County deputies are reaching out to the homebound and those with special needs "during this current situation."
The residents have registered with the Allegan County Emergency Management.
There are over 600 people on the list in Allegan County.
The purpose of the calls is check on "their ability to care for themselves," according to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office today.
Residents with "any concerns" can call 211.
"Please take care of yourself and don’t be afraid to reach out if you need help,"the sheriff's office said.
