LANSING, Mich. — Another protest against the governor’s actions dealing with the coronavirus is planned Thursday, this time by the Michigan United For Liberty, a group whose Facebook page was shut down by Facebook.

On Wednesday, Michigan State Police warned demonstrators to keep the rally peaceful.

The gathering is planned for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the state Capitol. FOX 17 will have a crew at the scene.

The man behind the Facebook group told FOX 17 that Facebook’s action was unjustified and the demonstration would be “a perfectly reasonable, respectful event.”

A spokesperson for MSP said, “Laws including ethnic intimidation, brandishing a firearm, resisting and obstructing, and others will be strictly enforced.”
