GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Kent County is reporting more cases of the coronavirus today.
The county has 22 presumptive positive cases, according to its website this evening.
It had 21 cases yesterday afternoon and then reported its first coronavirus death last night. The patient was a man in his 70s with underlying health issues.
Kent County says it has submitted 186 tests, with 97 coming back negative and 67 pending.
"We know there are far more cases out there, but the testing is so limited that we're stuck with this very limited information," says Dr. Adam London, director of the Kent County Health Department, in a video message today.
