SEVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 12-year-old boy has been hospitalized and three others injured after a three-way crash on M-46 in Gratiot County.
Troopers were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, near the Seville Church of God.
Investigation showed that the 18-year-old male driver of a Nissan SUV was headed south on Warner Road and didn't stop at a stop sign.
The SUV smashed into a Chevy pickup that was headed west on M-46, which then caused another collision with a Ford pickup truck.
The 12-year-old passenger of the SUV was flown from the scene with major injuries.
Out of six people involved, four were hurt while two were left uninjured.
This crash remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
