A Michigan brewery is cracking a new 'cold one' in honor of Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Check out 'Big Gretch: The Return."

The Rake Beer Project in Muskegon is released the beer this week. The new brew is an encore of sorts to 'Big Gretch' the hard seltzer that came out in May.

According to the brewster, the beer sold out "in just under 10 minutes."

"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every person that placed an order. As we always say, as long you wonderful people continue to support our crazy, silly, and fun ideas, we will continue to act on them," the company wrote on Instagram.

"This is the largest single batch of beer that we have ever produced, and the most cases that we have ever released at once, all gone in under just 10 minutes. To those of you who were unable to get some, we apologize deeply. We intentionally made such a large amount this time around to try to ensure that each and every person that wanted some was able to get some. We will take this as a learning experience going forward."

Like other places, the brewery only has carry-out service right now.

But the owner says he supports the governor in making the tough decisions needed to bring the pandemic under control.

"Again, much love from each of us here at Rake Beer Project. We cannot express what your support means during these wild times. Don’t forget to mask up, stay safe, and PUT SOME RESPECT ON BIG GRETCH’s name!"
