4 hospitalized in crash

NILES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Four people were hospitalized after one car pulled out of a gas station in front of the other.

According to the Berrien County Sheriff's Office, a red Nissan Sentra pulled out of a Speedway gas station onto South 11th Street into the path of an on-coming blue Ford Explorer.

The driver of the Sentra, a 56 year-old Dowagiac woman, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, a 56 year old Edwardsburg woman, along with the 72 year-old man and 61 year-old woman in the Explorer were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Berrien County Deputies are investigating this crash
