Looking for a fun day with the family? The Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Experience may be just what you're searing for, with many new programs and events coming to the museum in February.

A new plane will be joining the fleet of the Air Zoo's many, many airships like the brand new F-117 stealth fighter brought in from Nevada.

Throughout the month of February, people can see the inner workings of the most iconic aircraft at the Panels Off event. Many of the Air Zoo's planes will have panels and or cowlings removed for an in-depth look into their workings. This event is in-place of Open Cockpit Month, where guests could sit inside the cockpit of the Air Zoo's many planes, however, it had to be canceled due to COVID.

The Air Zoo continues to put the safety of its patrons first and foremost, keeping the facility clean and enforcing social distancing. However, those who still want to take part in activities with the Air Zoo, but aren't comfortable enough to leave their homes, can participate in virtual education programs and exhibits.

The Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Experience is located in Portage.
