Spectrum Health now has nine Urgent Care Centers throughout West Michigan, including their newest location in Ada. The new Ada Urgent Care will bring an important level of care closer to home for patients in this community, offering high-quality care to treat non-life threatening illnesses.

Spectrum Health expects the new facility will be a great service to the people who live in the Ada/ Forest Hills area, as well as people who may live closer to Lowell but travel through Ada on aregular basis.

Anyone can come to the Urgent Care to be treated, it is not required to be a Spectrum Health patient.

An urgent care is the best place to go with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Common reasons for urgent care visits include earaches, eye or skin infections, mild to moderate asthma attacks, headaches, fracture care, minor cuts wounds and stitches, and many other symptoms including:

  • Slips and falls
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Occupational Health initial injuries
  • Sports physicals
  • Other non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses

For those too ill to leave their home, Spectrum Health Now is an excellent option to seek medical care. Spectrum Health Now is a virtual care service where patients can talk with a medical provider face-to-face via video chat.

The service is especially great for those experiencing flu-like symptoms and are seeking relief and advice. A visit on Spectrum Health Now will never cost more than $45.

The urgent care center is open Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., located at 7128 Fulton Street East.
