Now that we're knee-deep in winter, escaping to a tropical climate doesn't sound so bad. A tidal wave and tropical climate await families of all ages at Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel.

Super Bowl Weekend is just around the corner! A true touchdown will be heading to Mt. Pleasant and enjoy an array of activities February 5-7. Saturday is a football-themed take-home craft giveaway and storytime with Nokomis. Watch Air Bud on Friday and The Game Plan on Saturday.

Valentine's Day Weekend isn't far off either! February 12-13, Valentine's crafts, Valentine's Day Bingo, and Storytime as always. Watch Tangled on Friday, and Saturday will feature the classic, Beauty and the Beast.

For the adults, consider falling in love with the Valentine's Plated Weekend Specials. February 12-14, surf and turf, New York Style Cheesecake along with strawberries and champagne margaritas in the family restaurant, right inside Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel. Comic Book Weekend flies into Soaring Eagle Waterpark on February 19 and 20. Crafts, Plinko, villain scavenger hunt, storytime, along with Incredibles 2 on Friday and Lego Batman: The Movie on Saturday.

Wrapping up the month of February is Zoo Weekend on February 26 and 27. There'll be a craft giveaway, Madagascar Scavenger Hunt, storytime, and two movies, Madagascar on Friday and Madagascar on Saturday.

Just announced, country sensation Luke Bryan will come to Soaring Eagle Casino on May 29 with guest Morgan Evans. He's known for his award-winning song, "Things That We Drink To." tickets for this outdoor concert go on sale on January 15.

Also taking the outdoor stage is Megadeth and Lamb of God, with special guests Trivium and In Flames on July 10. Megadeth formed back in 1983 and has since released 14 studio albums. Stay tuned for ticket release details.
