Details for the 2021 Tulip Time Festival are in bloom. COVID-19 may have canceled last year's festival and change a few things for next year, but the planning committee is planning to make it a Tulip Time to remember.
Currently, there are four events planned for Tulip Time 2021:
- Tulip Time Run, May 1
- Artisan Market, May 1 & 2
- Dutch Marktplaats and New Dutch Dance costume exhibit
- Tulip Immersion Garden, May 1-9
New this year is the Dutch Dance costume exhibit with facts about the costumes, what province they have come from, and some cool artifacts from the past 90 years.
The Tulip Immersion Garden is being designed by Ibo Gulson from the Netherlands and is the first exhibit of this kind in the U.S.
All outdoor events will follow the guidelines from the health department. They will be fenced so they can monitor the number of people. Every event will have a timed ticket entry with an admission fee.
