The good work being done by local charities doesn't stop when a pandemic hits, and that means those organizations and programs still need to be funded. The Raising Hope (At Home) virtual event celebrates Catholic Charities West Michigan, and there's a virtual event everyone's invited to.

The Raising Hope event will raise awareness and funds for the more than 30 social service programs by Catholic Charities West Michigan. Through these programs, they help more than 32,000 individuals each year.

Due to COVID-19, the event can't meet in person this year, but Catholic Charities West Michigan will be offering an inspiring program for free on November 19 at 7 p.m.

A keynote speech will be given by Mark Weber, producer of the award-winning documentary Poverty Inc., Bishop Walkowiak, and CCWM clients who have been personally affected by the support provided through their programs.

The program will end with a special virtual performance by the Catholic Central High School Choir.

100% of the money donated to this event will go directly to neighbors in need in West Michigan.
