Really missing outdoor events and entertainment? The River Country Chamber of Commerce Logging Festival in downtown Newaygo will fill the void this weekend.
While the 2020 Logging Festival will look a little different this year, the event will once again host the Mid-Michigan Lumberjack/jill Competition and the Logging Festival Art & Craft Show.
The Lumberjack Competition will start on Saturday at noon, with the finals taking place Sunday. There will be no bleachers this year, so guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
The arts and craft show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Check out the vendor list here.
There will also be tasty food for sale including BBQ chicken and ribs, hot dogs and brats, kettle corn, elephant ears, roasted almonds, and more.
The Logging Festival will take place on September 5 and 6.
