Cooley Law School expungement fair
Cooley Law School is partnering with the Michigan Attorney General's office to host an expungement fair this Friday, March 6 from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M.
In the Lansing Campus Lobby, volunteer attorneys and law students will help eligible individuals navigate the paperwork to remove arrests and convictions from their public records. While walk-ins are welcome, registration is highly encouraged to ensure assistance with removing eligible felonies, misdemeanors, and certain traffic violations under Michigan's Clean Slate Laws.
International films at the Knickerbocker Theatre

First up, "Trifole" runs today through March 7 at 7 P.M. It is a stunning Italian story set in the Alba White Truffle region that follows a young woman, her grandfather, and a loyal dog on a search that could save their family home.
From March 16 through 21, don't miss "The President's Cake", a powerful coming-of-age drama about a young girl in 1990s Iraq risking everything to bake a mandatory birthday cake.

Black Bear Sports Group acquiring ownership of two local ice rinks
Black Bear Sports Group is expanding its West Michigan footprint with the acquisition of two major local rinks. The Maryland-based company has grown into the largest owner-operator of ice rinks in the United States and has officially taken ownership of Holland Ice Arena and Hudsonville Ice Arena, formerly known as Griff's Icehouse West and Griff's Georgetown.
As part of the transition, millions of dollars in critical infrastructure repairs are planned to ensure long-term stability for the skating community. All current programming will continue without interruption through the 2025-26 season.
